What is a 'synpath?'
From the otherkin wiki: "A synpath is something that someone identifies with but not as. It is similar to otherhearted, though the term synpath was created to be more broad, as well as to be used by anyone in or outside the kin community."
In my situation, I use 'kith' for 'real' or mythological beings and 'synpath' for fictional beings.
My synpaths.
Most of my synpaths are Pokemon or Digimon and, to be honest with you, I don't know why some of them resonate so much with me. They just do and I accept that.
My most prominent Pokemon synpaths are Gardevoir and Iron Valiant. If I had to point to a Pokemon and say "that's an elf," Gardevoir would be the Pokemon I was looking at. Iron Valiant is like that, to a degree, but also deeply resonates with both my person and a few desires of mine. My other Pokemon synpaths include Metagross, Hoopa Unbound, and Deoxys.
My Digimon synpaths are Beelzemon, Renamon, and Infermon.
I have a small handful of non-'mon synpaths and they are the concept of the dragonrider from The Dragonriders of Pern, the concept of the Dragoon from Final Fantasy XI, Estinien and Nidhogg from Final Fantasy XIV, and the concept of the Burnish from Promare.
